Here are some projects you can help support - both through prayer and financially:

Ukrainian Teammates

Nearly half of the 25 missionaries working in OM Ukraine are national workers, those Ukrainians who feel called by the Lord to serve in their own country. These workers are absolutely vital to the ongoing ministries not only because of their hearts to serve, but also because of their natural understanding of the language, culture and political structures within Ukraine.

Unfortunately, raising financial support from within Ukraine is quite difficult due to the poor economy. Most of our Ukrainian workers receive minimum wage pay for their services, although some of them have families to support on such a small salary.

• To support 1 Ukrainian worker for 1 year: $3000
• To support 1 Ukrainian worker for 1 month: $250
• Food for 1 Ukrainian worker for 1 month: $50
• Transportation fees for 1 Ukrainian for 1 month: $10

Summer Sports Camps

We aim to develop, train, and assist the local church in sports ministry to reach unreached children and youth. We have weekly, ongoing sport ministry as well as summer sport camps. Here are some of our 2008 sports projects:

• Basketball/Streetball ministry
• Youth floorball teams and camp
• Boys football (soccer) leagues and camps
• Women's weekly football (soccer) ministry
• Boys & Girls weekly rugby ministry and summer camp
• Training and coaching seminars
• Youth sport clubs and "Zany Olympics" competitions in local schools

Each sport camp costs $1,500-$2,000 (USD). Cost for one child to attend: $30.

Renting sports halls for regular, weekly sports ministry costs $50/month for each ministry.

Children's Summer Camps

Since 2000, we have hosted 41 camps in 32 different unreached villages and reached more than 4000 children. Through Bible lessons, games, crafts and small group time, these children hear the Gospel, many for the first time. Parents and teachers are also reached through the lives of the children. Following these camps, OM works with the local church to start Sunday School classes, training teachers from the village to carry on the ministry. In the summer of 2007, OM hosted camps in 10 unreached villages, working with a total of nearly 1000 children.

• Total cost of 1 camp: $695 (USD)
• Cost for one child to attend: $13
• Costs for helping a newly established Sunday school for 1 month: $90
